Water service outage prompts East Kootenay Region to issue boil-water notice

East Kootenay, B.C. – Users of the Holland Creek water system have been issued a boil-water notice by the regional district.

The notice was enacted yesterday following a water service outage.

Lakeview Meadows/Holland Creek and Cottages at Copper Point residents were asked to not use their water until service was restored.

Until lab results are confirmed, the notice was to remain in effect.

Restoration of service will be noted here once the boil-water notice is lifted.
