Water testing in central Nova Scotia paused due to worldwide shortage of chemical component
40% of province gets drinking water from wells

Nova Scotia – A worldwide shortage of a necessary chemical used in testing water has forced Nova Scotia Health to pause its testing program for chemicals in the province’s central zone for the time being. The matter will be reassessed in three to four weeks. The health authority’s testing services are for municipal, registered and private water supply owners. More than 40 per cent of the Nova Scotia population gets their drinking water from wells. CBC News report | READ MORE
