On behalf of the City of Winnipeg, it is my honour to officially welcome all national and international delegates to Winnipeg – The Heart of the Continent – for CanWell 2010, hosted by the Manitoba Geothermal Energy Alliance and the Manitoba Water Well Association.
I would encourage you to take advantage of the networking opportunities with fellow groundwater professionals, manufacturers, engineers, and suppliers to exchange valuable information during an event that will provide informative and educational technical presentations, an innovative trade show and cutting edge drilling demonstrations.
I would like to thank the organizers and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to bringing international visitors to network here in our city. Winnipeg is a vibrant city, rich in culture and taste offering a variety of restaurants, shopping, sporting events, entertainment and a host of cultural activities that I am sure you will enjoy. We truly have something for everyone and I encourage you to take in all that our City offers during your visit.
