Work still to be done to address lead levels in Quebec schools’ drinking water

Levels exceed Health Canada guidelines

Montreal – Some Quebec school boards have not yet made the necessary repairs to address lead levels in their drinking water. Based on 2021 data, more than a third of the province’s public school fountains and faucets had lead levels that exceeded Health Canada guidelines. Work that needs to be done to rectify the situation includes extensive plumbing renovations and replacement of obsolete fixtures. CTV News report | READ MORE
