Work still to be done to address lead levels in Quebec schools’ drinking water
Levels exceed Health Canada guidelines

Montreal – Some Quebec school boards have not yet made the necessary repairs to address lead levels in their drinking water. Based on 2021 data, more than a third of the province’s public school fountains and faucets had lead levels that exceeded Health Canada guidelines.
