Zuniga brings SCADA experience to Hatch Mott MacDonald

Sept. 25, 2014, Iselin, NJ – Carlos Zuniga has joined engineering
company Hatch Mott MacDonald as a principal project manager based in
Burlington, Ont.

Sept. 25, 2014, Iselin, NJ – Carlos Zuniga has joined engineering company Hatch Mott MacDonald as a principal project manager based in Burlington, Ont.

Zuniga
has more than 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater
industry, with a focus on supervisory control and data acquisition
(SCADA), automation, power systems, and energy management projects. He
has managed large, complex construction projects for municipalities
across Ontario and in Edmonton, Alta.

“Carlos has an impressive
record of leveraging SCADA to improve the performance of complex water
and wastewater facilities,” said Nicholas DeNichilo, president and chief executive officer
of HMM, in a news release. “His abilities will add to the strength of HMM’s water and
wastewater practices in Eastern Canada.”

 

In
addition to SCADA upgrades for Ontario municipalities including the
Central Elgin Region, Haldimand County, Hamilton, Lake Huron, and St.
Thomas, Zuniga’s projects have included power systems, pumps,
switchgear, and monitoring equipment at water and wastewater facilities.
