The search for Canada’s most “distinguished driller” of 2023 was an overwhelming success, but we have come to realize that what constitutes the country’s top drillers isn’t necessarily based solely on a driller’s age. There are both seasoned veterans in the industry as well as younger up-and-comers who are potentially equally deserving of this honour if they meet the criteria of excellence in leadership, innovation and business acumen.
Therefore, Ground Water Canada wishes to honour two “distinguished drillers” in 2024 – one with less than 10 years of experience in the industry and another with 10 or more years of experience. We realize that water well drilling is an aging industry in Canada, and it’s important to recognize the younger workers who represent the future of the industry while also paying tribute to older drillers who have built this industry.
