Saskatchewan – Climate change and other factors are posing a risk to Canada’s lakes. A researcher from the University of Saskatchewan, however, is ensuring drinking water remains safeguarded despite the risks. Dr. Helen Baulch is focusing on Lake Winnipeg where algal blooms have increased in recent years.
