Nunavut community getting federal, territorial funding to address long-standing water issues

Nunavut – The federal and Nunavut governments are spending $194 million to support eight infrastructure projects in six territorial communities, which includes addressing a long-standing water issue. The plan includes the design and construction of a new water treatment facility in Sanikiluaq which has dealt with decades-long water issues.
