Research is first exploration of microplastics' impact on cognitive level

Studies on mice have revealed that the effects of microplastics in drinking water have contributed to significant behavioural changes and immune responses, according to a report published in International Journal of Molecular Sciences. The research could give greater insight into how microplastics in drinking water could affect larger mammals, including humans.
