California utility to study drilling, desalinization of brackish ground water

July 14, 2015, San Mateo, CA – The California Water Service Company is seeking the state’s approval to
investigate the efficacy of drilling for brackish ground water and
possibly dipping in to the San Francisco Bay’s floor near San Mateo. Should officials find a
fruitful aquifer, the utility will consider constructing a
