California water bottling company told to cease taking water from sensitive springs

Environmentalists say company never had permission to take water from springs

California – A water bottling company has been issued a state order to cease drawing water from the natural springs that have been used for more than 100 years. Arrowhead has been told its practices have aided in draining a creek that is vital to wildlife habitat. Environmental groups add the company has never had permission to take water from the springs.
