DFO to clean up oily contamination at busy Nova Scotia harbour

Riverport, N.S. – The Department of Fisheries and Oceans has spent $758,000 studying the site of oil or gas contamination of groundwater at a busy commercial fishing harbour on Nova Scotia’s South Shore and will spend another $1.6 million over the next five years to clean it up.
