German Water Partnership lands in Canada

Jan. 29, 2014, Mississauga, ON – Dirk Ruppert, the national business development manager for KSB Pumps, will be heading the new North American section of the German Water Partnership (GWP).

GWP is a consortium of government agencies, scientific institutes, NGOs and commercial enterprises active in water-related services and industries.

“While Canada possesses massive water resources, parts of the country still face a strong demand for drinking water purification and waste water treatment,” said Ruppert, who is based in Mississauga, Ont. “The GWP initiative wants to help upgrade the infrastructure in these areas with the latest technologies. I’m looking forward to working with new partners from Canada and the rest of North America.”

The new North American section of the GWP will be a platform for the exchange of water-related know-how, technology and business with partners in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
