Insert couplings with o-ring union make for easy fix

Nov. 28, 2017 – Merrill Manufacturing Company has a new line of no-lead bronze extra-long insert couplings designed to provide easy fixes for cut or broken poly pipe.

The two-inch RBCPNL200XLU couplings feature a new o-ring union in the middle that makes the pipe fix a lot easier, Merrill said in a press release. You no longer need to dig back to allow flex in the pipe so the other end can be inserted. Now just insert both ends and the union nut pulls it together.

Repair can be done in less than half the time, the company said.
