Network supports women in skilled trades

March 30, 2016  By Ground Water Canada

Toronto – The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum has developed an online resource to help women learn more about the trades and access the resources they need to progress in their training and careers.

The Skilled Trades Network is a hub of employer resources, apprenticeship resources, community support options, videos and podcasts for women working in or interested in the trades.

The CAF-FCA invites feedback from women interested in the trades, female apprentices and female tradespeople through a survey on the new website. The association said in its latest newsletter it will use suggestions from interested parties to improve the website.
