Newfoundland town faces water system challenges due to its infrastructure
Breaks in plastic pipe water mains are difficult to locate and require extensive repairs

Port Aux Basques, NL – Unexpected breaks in its water system infrastructure has left the seaside town with an ongoing challenge. Plastic water main pipe, for example, has made breaks difficult to locate when compared with concrete or cast iron.
