Peterborough considers taking over drinking water provision from local PUC
Change could save city $3 million a year

Peterborough, Ont. – The city is contemplating taking over the provision of drinking water from the local public utilities commission. The city has managed wastewater and stormwater for years, but has left drinking water operations in the hands of the PUC.
