Similar dry spell next year could be disastrous for farmers, says agriculture association

Regina – Soil saturation and high levels of ground water from previous years offset a lack of rainfall and helped Saskatchewan farmers produce crops this year, but an extended dry spell next spring and summer could severely limit crop production, according to the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan.
