University of Guelph researchers to make World Water Day presentations Friday

Guelph, Ont. – Water for Peace is the theme for this year’s World Water Day on Friday, and researchers from the University of Guelph have an event planned for the day, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Three presentations will be made by Dr. Jonathan Munn, assistant professor, School of Engineering; Dr. Sophie Erfurth, post-doctoral fellow, Morwick G360; and Carlos Marques, visiting international PhD student, Morwick G360. The university has been researching water-borne pathogens, protecting groundwater and monitoring ecosystem health. For more information about the event, click here.
