British Columbia – The release of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean from a Japanese nuclear power plant isn’t likely to have an impact on British Columbia, a University of Victoria scientist says. Japan’s decision to release the water has caused concern among neighbouring countries, including China which has since banned seafood imports from Japan.
