Apprenticeship conference seeks presentations
September 16, 2015 By The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum
Vancouver – The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum has issued a call for presentations for its 2016 conference, Apprenticeship: Hands on the Future.
The conference is set for June 5-7, 2016, at Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.
The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum-Forum canadien sur l’apprentissage (CAF-FCA) invites interested speakers to submit a presentation abstract for the conference, which will bring Canada’s apprenticeship community together to highlight promising practices and innovative solutions in apprenticeship training, the association said in a news release. More than 500 delegates are expected to participate over three days.
“Apprenticeship is more than a way of teaching hands-on skills – it inspires partnership among employers, labour groups, educators, equity groups and governments to contribute to a shared objective,” the CAF-FCA said.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to October 16, 2015.
