B.C.’s Sunshine Coast implements highest level of water restrictions amid drought
Province's ecosystems are now in peril

British Columbia – The province’s Sunshine Coast has imposed its highest level of water restrictions set to kick off today. Extreme ongoing drought has led to the implementation of Stage 4 water restrictions which prohibits the outdoor use of drinking water. It means cars can’t be washed and lawns and gardens can’t be watered. More than 80 per cent of British Columbia is under Level 4 or 5 drought conditions, putting ecosystems in peril.
