Boil-water advisory lifted following water main break in Lion’s Head, Ont.

Lion’s Head, Ont. – The precautionary boil-water advisory that was issued following a water main break here on Saturday has been lifted. The advisory was issued by the Northern Bruce Peninsula after consulting with the Grey Bruce Health Unit and the Ontario Clean Water Agency. The advisory was made with the fear the break may have led to the contamination of the local water supply, but water quality testing has ensured the drinking water meets Ontario regulations and water quality standards.
