Canadian company’s oil pipeline project leads to aquifer breach in northern Minnesota
Enbridge Energy working to repair rupture

Minnesota – Another aquifer breach in the northern region of the state has come as a result of Canada-based Enbridge Energy’s construction of an oil pipeline replacement. It is the fourth breach, having occurred near Moose Lake. Enbridge is working to repair the rupture which has caused water to leak to the surface with the potential for pollutant introductions.
