Celebrity actor/filmmaker contributes toward N.S. town’s new community well

Shelburne, N.S. – Backed by a significant contribution from a homegrown celebrity, the town’s new community well project is getting closer to going live. Actor/filmmaker Elliot Page has pledged more than $25,000 toward the project that addresses the plight of residents whose shallow wells tend to dry up during periods of hot weather.
