Cochrane reservoir levels stabilized, but municipality not out of the woods yet
State of emergency remains in effect in Alberta town
October 26, 2023 By Ground Water Canada

Calgary – Water reservoir levels in Cochrane, Alta. have been partially restored following a major pipeline break last weekend, but its state of emergency remains intact. Efforts to stabilize reservoir levels have been aided by water conservation in the municipality as well as water being trucked in from neighbouring communities. The pipeline break was caused by drilling work conducted by a contractor. The leak has been detected, but the town says it’s not out of the woods yet. CBC News report | READ MORE
