Research claims success of slow sand filtration

Biologically active systems called called slow sand filters can remove nanoplastic particles from water with 99.9 per cent success, a new study says. The spread of plastic waste has been an environmental concern for years, and tiny plastic particles getting into the water system has been particularly alarming.
