Grades 2-5 children learn about groundwater, water conservation at education event

Guelph, Ont. – Following three years as on online offering due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival returned to its in-person roots this month. The event, held at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area, attracted students from grades 2 through 5, giving them the opportunity to measure groundwater, understand water tables and other aspects of groundwater and water conservation.
