Sarnia Rotarians spearheading project allowing Kenyan village to access clean water
Project will give 3,000 villagers access to clean drinking water

Sarnia, Ont. – An international project to bring clean drinking water to a village in Kenya, that was spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Sarnia-Bluewaterland, is nearing completion. The $130,000 U.S. project involves a 90-metre-deep well, a nine-metre-tall water storage tower and pipes to the village of Yombra where about 3,000 will benefit from a clean water supply.
