Groundwater concerns escalate in Alberta as drought continues throughout Prairies

About 600,000 people in Alberta depend on groundwater

Edmonton – Alberta is experiencing its lowest water levels in the past seven years, a University of Saskatchewan water scientist says, adding levels are much lower than they were during the 1970s and 1980s.
