Groundwater issues prompt B.C. city to reallocate funds to finish sewer project

Courtenay, B.C. – Groundwater issues in Courtenay have prompted city council to complete its Greenwood Trunk Sanitary Sewer project by moving funds from other projects and reserves. New sewer mains and a new sewer pump station are among the project’s new features. The project is three-quarters finished and is expected to be completed this February.
