It’s ‘absolutely necessary’ for British Columbians to conserve water, minister warns
Province-wide drought has seen some relief, but it's not nearly enough

Vancouver – Some wetter weather of late has given drought-stricken British Columbia some brief relief, but it hasn’t been enough to turn things around. As the historic drought continues, further water restrictions are likely to be imposed, the province’s forests minister has warned. B.C.’s emergency management minister said people must change their mindset about water, especially as the drought is expected to continue through the remainder of the year and beyond.
