McMaster students forced to leave residence over water issues demand rent pause

Hamilton, Ont. – Students being forced to evacuate a downtown university residence to allow for its unsafe drinking water issues to be resolved are demanding a pause in their rent payments. The students tenants are to leave the McMaster University residence for six days starting Feb. 4 while the building’s water system is being repaired.
