Ontario town’s mayor wants all existing lead pipes eliminated for safer drinking water
Plan for pipe elimination to be developed

Windsor, Ont. – The mayor of the Town of Essex wants to know how many lead pipes remain underground and wishes to initiate a plan for their replacement. Mayor Sherry Bondy wishes to ensure there is no further risk of lead getting into the municipality’s drinking water.
