Vancouver – Plans to build a $300-million tunnel under Stanley Park to supply drinking water to local residents will be put to a vote next week by the Vancouver Park Board. The proposed tunnel, which spans 1.4 kilometres in length, is to replace a pipe built almost 100 years ago. The tunnel concept was originally proposed in 2016 following a major leak at Lost Lagoon.
