The PolarGuard Insulating Wellhead Cover from Q.E.D. Environmental Systems Inc., a manufacturer of environmental products, is an insulative cover that protects and prevents frozen condensation and wind damage on wellheads and gas collection hoses.

Sub-zero temperatures and heavy winds can lead to freezing condensation in wellheads and landfill gas hoses, affecting gas extraction levels and causing unnecessary delays and expense. The PolarGuard cover protects against these harsh conditions by tightly wrapping wellheads and gas collection hoses. They can be customized for water-well applications.

PolarGuard covers allow for quick and easy installation using Velcro closures and web buckle straps. Covers are able to come on and off with ease, allowing for convenient monitoring and maintenance. They are available for both Precision Control and Accu-Flo wellheads and can accommodate wellheads of up to three inches.
