Report on B.C. fracking tackles First Nations water concerns

Ottawa – A new paper from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives looks at the growing concerns First Nations in British Columbia have about large volumes of water being used for natural gas fracking operations.
The study proposes what steps should be taken to create a more meaningful pre-development consultation process that would give First Nations a more substantive role in shaping the scale, timing, frequency and location of fossil fuel developments within their territories. | READ THE REPORT
