Snowpack level reported at Nelson, B.C. measuring station at its lowest on record
Lack of snow could affect groundwater levels, water supply

Nelson, B.C. – The lowest snowpack accumulation on record has been noted at the Nelson snow measuring station. British Columbia’s Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship reports the station noted a 25 per cent snowpack at the Nelson station on Jan. 1 which is the lowest in 63 years.
