Groundwater will account for most of Calgary rivers’ volume during hot, dry spell

Calgary – The Bow and Elbow rivers will be getting most of its volume from groundwater and any rainfall amounts in the wake of below-average mountain snowpack levels. The rivers’ flow has dropped to some of their lowest levels for this time of year.
