Transboundary aquifer research summarized

As part of an initiative launched internationally in 2002, the Special Issue on International Shared Aquifer Resources Assessment and Management summarizes key findings from 11 papers, most of which were selected by invitation to prepare the special issue reflecting research on four continents: Africa, America, Asia and Europe.

The authors are Alfonso Rivera, chief hydrogeologist for the Geological Survey of Canada, Natural Resources Canada, and Lucila Candela, of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Catalonia-UPC in Barcelona, Spain.
