The United Nations humanitarian agency has warned that supply cuts by Israel to the Gaza Strip could result in a severe drinking water shortage for more than 600,000 people.
UNICEF has stated it is “alarmed” by Israel’s suspension of water and food supplies to Gaza as the latest measure in the Hamas-Israel conflict.
The suspension of water and food is in violation of international laws, UNICEF says.
