World Water Day event raises awareness of drinking water shortcomings for First Nations

Hamilton, Ont. – The ability to access safe drinking water at any time is something most Canadians take for granted. An event held on World Water Day on Friday, however, raised some eyebrows among many of the attendees when they learned that several residents at the nearby Six Nations of the Grand River don’t have that privilege.
