Alberta government gives green light to gravel pit project near provincial park

Cochrane, Alta. – A proposed gravel pit in the vicinity of Big Hill Springs Provincial Park has been given the green light by the Alberta government despite opposition from the Bighill Creek Preservation Society which fears the region’s groundwater will be at risk.
