Belleville council says residents on well, septic systems won’t have to connect to city services

Belleville, Ont. – City homeowners with well and septic systems shouldn’t have to be connected to new municipal water and sanitary sewer lines, a local councillor says. Coun. Paul Carr says such individuals should not have to connect as a way of helping to cover the cost of servicng new subdivisions in their areas. City council has agreed.
