Indigenous water treatment training program launched in Manitoba by Water First

Winnipeg – Manitoba has launched its first drinking water internship program through the collaboration of Water First Education & Training Inc. and Interlake Reserves Tribal Council (IRTC) and its associated communities. It marks Water First’s expansion into programs beyond Ontario. The 15-month training program aims to offer members of the seven IRTC communities a chance to acquire certification in water treatment.
