Halifax – People whose wells are going dry are able to access drinking water from the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Starting today, households can receive two litres of water per person each day plus another litre per pet at six different fire stations. Households can collect a week’s supply at a time each Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. with the exception of two stations that have different hours of operation.
Residents must bring their own bottles or containers to Station 42 while bottled water is available at the other stations during the set hours.
