International Water Association to host 10-day virtual conference on water issues

The International Water Association will host the Digital World Water Congress to discuss water issues of international concern from May 24 to June 4.

This major virtual event will focus on the biggest issues affecting the water sector, from COVID-19 to progress towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Digital World Water Congress is an online event for water professionals covering the full water cycle. It includes 32 hours of content and activity, spans across eight days and covers multiple time zones to accommodate a global audience.

The event consists of plenary sessions with keynote speakers, technical presentations from industry experts, smart-networking and social opportunities accessible through a dedicated platform. There will also be a poster hall, with presentations and Q-and-As available from each author.

The IWA’s World Water Congress in in Copenhagen, Denmark, has been postponed until September 2022 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. More details will be announced in the near future.
