Kingston to re-examine adding fluoride to its municipal drinking water supply

Kingston, Ont. – Calling fluoride one of the most toxic chemicals on earth, a Kingston city councillor was outvoted by his colleagues who have moved to restart the process of adding fluoride to the city’s drinking water. The process was initially stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic, but council has voted 11-1 to revisit the idea. Although several deputations cited the health benefits of having fluoride in the municipal drinking water supply, the only dissenting councillor was not alone in his criticism.
