Lawn-watering restrictions begin in Metro Vancouver to conserve drinking water
Residents can water their lawns one morning a week
May 2, 2024 By Ground Water Canada
As a means of conserving water for drinking purposes, Metro Vancouver has imposed lawn watering restrictions that are now in effect until mid-October.
District residents are permitted to water their lawns only one morning per week.
Reservoirs have benefited from recent spring rainfall, but the area is still dealing with a lower-than-normal snowpack.
