Manitoba community’s drinking water source has guideline-exceeding arsenic levels
Boiling water will not remove arsenic

Hockfeld, Man. – Arsenic levels exceeding Canadian drinking water guidelines have prompted a water quality advisory by the Blumenfeld-Hochfeld Water Co-op. The Office of Drinking Water advises residents, whose primary drinking water source is from the local supply, to reduce what they consume, adding boiling water will not reduce the am0unt of arsenic present.
